There are several notices of this on the alleged help page. going back several months instructions of how to fix the problem do not explain ANYTHING! A way out launch issue
I bought a way out through steam and every time I try and launch it, it just launches the EA app and not the game. I’ve tried just starting it from the EA app but that still doesn’t open the game. i’ve uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and the ea app and I’ve unlinked and relinked my steam account but it’s still not working🎉 Huge milestone for Hazelight Studios! 🎉

For the last couple of weeks, I have been trying to troubleshoot fatal crashes for SF. I have looked up solutions on Google, Steam, Reddit, and Gemini, and nothing has stopped them. The crashes happen anywhere from a couple minutes to 10-15 minutes after launch. When the game crashes, audio continues as if the game is still playing normally. A pop up comes up that says "The UE-Split Gamme has crashed and will close | Fatal error! | Ok". Once I push the Ok button, the game shuts down. Here's my system and the steps I have taken. I have a debugging session that I provide upon request, but I will have to copy the entire text onto a response. RTX 5060 Ti (Brand New upgrade from a GTX 1070 Ti), AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor, 32 GB RAM, Windows 11 Game is running through Steam. Steps Taken to Fix Crashes: Verified the intregrity of the files Reinstalled the game Lowered the graphics quality to the lowest settings Played in full screen, borderless windowed, and windowed mode Clean installed the GPU Driver Repaired Windows Disable Screen Overlays Ran a Hardware Memory Check Cleared the Local AppData Cache Disconnected from the Steam Cloud Ran the game as an administrator Ran the game in compatibility mode for Windows 8 Ran a command prompt for sfc /scannow Turned off HAGS Limited fps to 60fps Cleared the Windows DirectX Shader Cache Added launch options through Steam, including -dx11, -dx12, -onethread, and -forceribypass Resetted the TPM
Wild hearts constantly crashing out
So I got a code for Wild hearts for the EA app from Humble bundle monthly choice a good while back. This game has been on my " want to play list" since it was Announced. My pc more than meets the Recommended specs but I can not get it to go past the Character customisation part, it just crashes out constantly. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, Running repair and cleaning the install file out of both the EA app and the game. Ans still nothing. It's starting to really grind my gears. My specs for those who need to know or know a work around that I haven't tried yet: SSD free space: 525gb available from 1tb NVme free space: 636 available from 2tb Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor Video Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Operating System Windows 11 RAM 32 GB
A way Out Friend Invite EA App Not Available
Hello i Have Problem With EA App On A Way out Game When i Search For it in App Not Showing And When Friend Invite Me To Give Me Access it's Say Game Not Available Friend Have Steam Verison i Owned The Game On PS4 And i Don't Want To Buy it Again i Have Reinstall The EA App And Clear Cache Same Issue Maybe You Can Try To Search For The Game in App it's Not Showing How i Can Fix The Problem?
A Way Out shows as Standard Edition but launches Friend Pass version
Hello, I own the Standard Edition of A Way Out and it appears correctly in my EA library as a purchased game. However, when I try to download and launch it, the game only opens as the Friend Pass version instead of the Standard Edition. I have attached a screenshot showing that the Standard Edition is listed in my library. Could you please help me resolve this issue?
Split Fiction bug
Looks like in the Final Dawn Test Chamber chapter, if both players are stuck in the cage and dumped off into a hatch at the same time, they immediately die and respawn at that exact point so it's an endless loop. I'm sorry I'm not sure how to describe it any more precisely, but I just wanted to let someone know about this. It can be fixed by going to the last checkpoint, but still not fun to be in a respawn/die loop for one wrong coordination thing! Thanks! Please let me know if this is not how this forum is used/if I need to submit this elsewhere!
